To ensure consistent progress and positive outcomes, it is crucial that all clients understand and adhere to our attendance and session participation policy. This policy is designed to support your journey towards improved well-being. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines.

Attendance & session participation policy

The following attendance standards apply to all clients to ensure consistent progress and effective outcomes:

Session attendance

  • All sessions must start on time.
  • If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.
  • Missed time without prior cancellation will not be made up or refunded.

No-show / missed session policy

  • Sessions missed without proper notice are not refundable and will not be rescheduled.
  • Two or more no-shows within 30 days may result in:
    • Suspension of services but can be restarted the following month as a new service.

Service continuation

Consistent attendance is required. A pattern of cancellations, missed sessions, or lack of engagement may result in:

  • Service pause
  • Tier adjustment
  • Discontinuation of services

Rescheduling a session

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel a session.
  • Requests made with fewer than 24 hours’ notice are considered missed sessions.

Participation expectations

  • A parent/caregiver must ensure the child or teen is available, prepared, and in an appropriate environment for each session through advanced confirmation.
  • Caregivers must be reachable during the session time in case support or clarification is needed.
  • Behavioral strategies may require home or family involvement between sessions.
